Like every business, we’ve had our fair share of challenges when it’s came to operating in 2020. We’ve had to alter our working policies and ultimately film in more challenging conditions. But one thing we’re grateful for is our ability to adapt and continually produce high end films for our clients throughout the year. So to round out this turbulent year, we thought we’d take a look back at our 5 best films of 2020!

5. Keltbray Distribution and Transmission AC Line Refurbishment

Shot in South Wales, this project shows Keltbray’s refurbishment of the 132kv AC Line, running from Connah’s Quay to Dolgarrog, North Wales. Don’t watch if you’re afraid of heights!

4. network rail MANEA wheel Timber Replacement

We filmed Network Rail replace 53 wheel timbers on a bridge in Manea, along the line between Ely and Peterborough. Although we’ve filmed our fair share of rail projects, this one definitely had the coolest location!

3. Alstom Widnes Transport Technology Centre

We produced this film to showcase Alstom’s Technology Centre in Widnes, which specialises in Pendolino train refurbishment and manufacture.

2. Keltbray Lifting Services | At Your Side

We produced this promotional film for Keltbray to showcase their lifting services. For this video we utilised footage we’d shot from some of their biggest previous projects, such as the Earls Court Redevelopment and Battersea Power Station Demolition.

1. Derby City Council A52 Bridge Redevelopment

Filmed over the course of 5 months, this video shows a complete bridge redevelopment over the A52 in Derby, carried out by Derby City Council and Galliford Try. This film stacks up as one of our larger projects of the year, with multiple filming visits and the installation of a long-term time lapse system for live project tracking.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to view some of our best films from 2020! If you require expert film coverage on your project in 2021 then make to sure to get in touch!
