After a highly successful year in 2019, we at Inside Out Group are excited to be moving into 2020. With many large projects already on the horizon for us for next year, we look forward to facing new and exciting challenges as a business. But before we get stuck into the new year, we take a quick look back at some of our best films of 2019. Take a look!
5. Colt Construction | Leeds Station South Concourse Roof Redevelopment
We filmed Colt Construction’s complete roof replacement at Leeds Station, using our durable time lapse systems to capture the roof installation as a whole. This new roof is only one part of an £161m refurbishment scheme for Leeds Station, which includes new track layouts and platforms still to come.
4. Network Rail | Bromham Road Bridge Redevelopment
As part of Network Rail’s Midland Main Line project Bromham Road Bridge in Bedford was completely redeveloped. This redevelopment would allow proper clearance for vital 25,000 volt overhead line equipment. We filmed both the demolition of the original bridge along with the installation of a brand new one.
3. Central Rail Systems Alliance | Newark Junction Renewal
We filmed Central Rail Systems Alliance carry out a complete junction renewal just north of Newark North Gate Railway Station. Filmed over a four day period in scorching weather, this film showcased Central Rail System Alliance’s durability and reliability as a UK Rail workforce.
2. Rail Staff Awards 2019
The 2019 Rail Staff Awards were a huge event for the UK’s rail industry, recognising some of the industry’s best staff from the year. For another year in a row we had the honour of filming the event. Featuring live dance performances, an indoor fairground and a vibrant Moroccan theme, the 2019 Rail Staff Awards had it all. Take a look!
1. Alstom | Widnes Technology Centre
We had the pleasure of filming Alstom’s Transport Technology Centre in Widnes, with the aim of producing a fun and high end film to showcase the facility. Filled with dynamic shots and crisp transitions, this film stacks up as one of our best rail films to date.
