The Challenge
Network Rail and Great Western Railway needed a sharp, engaging video to showcase Ashley Down Station—part of their New Stations Project. The goal was to highlight the station’s impact and include interviews with portfolio managers, all within a tight filming schedule and using a lean crew.
The Approach
We sent a single camera operator to run a dual-camera interview setup using the Canon R5 and R6. This created a dynamic, multi-angle edit. Audio was captured cleanly with the DJI Mic 2. For b-roll, we used the Canon R5 to film detailed 4K shots of the station, while the DJI Mini 4 Pro drone captured sweeping aerial views. In post-production, we added contextual graphics, subtitles, and music. Our editor also colour graded the footage to create a consistent, professional look.
The Result
The final video tells a clear story about Ashley Down Station’s role in the wider project. It combines sharp visuals, strong messaging, and seamless editing. Now, Network Rail and GWR use it as a go-to asset for stakeholder engagement, internal updates, and public communications.
