The Challenge
Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity needed a full visual record of a Medicinema transformation inside a live hospital.
The project involved a full rip out and refit. Access was tight. Disruption had to be kept to a minimum.
The brief was simple. Capture the entire build using construction time-lapse photography, then produce high-quality closing footage of the finished space.
The Approach
We installed a 4K construction time-lapse system to capture the project from start to finish.
Installation and removal were both completed in under an hour by our engineer, keeping our footprint on site minimal.
Once the build was complete, we returned to film the finished Medicinema. Using the Canon R5 and DJI RS3 gimbal, we captured smooth, cinematic walkthrough footage.
The final shoot was completed within an hour, working around the live hospital environment.

The project is captured from start to finish.
The construction time-lapse video shows the full fit-out process. The closing footage brings the finished space to life.
